Loose tea is now available at Village Health Market in Tampa - January 12, 2010

Good news for our local customers in Tampa, FL, especially those living in the South Tampa area. Our teas are currently available at Village Health Market located at 3225 S. MacDill Avenue in the tea section. Teajo Teas are the first loose tea products to arrive on their shelves, which is very exciting. This is just another step in our mission to introduce and promote loose tea.

Flavored Rooibos and flavored black teas this weekend at Friday Market and Eco.Festival - April 23, 2009

Join us this Friday, April 24 at the Tampa Downtown Market for some delicious naturally flavored teas. We will also be participating in Eco.Festival on Saturday, April 25 at Cotanchobee Park on the waterfront in Downtown Tampa. It's going to be very warm, so we will definitely do our best to cool you off with flavors such as Red Mango Rooibos, a refreshing caffeine-free herbal infusion, served over ice of course! For those of you who like a little more body and some caffeine, we will be offering flavored black teas as well.

Earth Day Tampa Bay - Thanks to all for tasting our teas - April 20, 2009

We would like to thank everyone who visited Earth Day Tampa Bay this past Sunday, particularly those who stopped by our booth to taste our teas. We hope you all enjoyed the event and came away with a little more awareness of our need to create and promote, eco-friendly and sustainable products and services.

In terms of the teas, Rooibos was a big hit and is becoming very popular, especially our Mango flavored variety. Of course, you can't go wrong with Mango in this part of the country. Our Sweet Orange tea was very popular as well, because black tea still seems to be the tea of choice when it comes to flavored teas. Considering the pungent, grassy flavor that often accompanies green tea, we also had a large number of requests for our Lemon Ginger Green tea.

Weekend events - Naturally flavored teas at Earth Day and Tampa Downtown Market - April 14, 2009

We have a busy schedule approaching this weekend. Look for us again this Friday, April 17 at the Tampa Downtown Market. Our featured flavored teas will be Red Mango Rooibos, Lemon Ginger Green and Passion Fruit.

We will also be participating in Earth Day Tampa Bay this Sunday, April 19 at Lowry Park's Band Shell and will be offering ready to drink naturally flavored teas served on ice and packaged teas for those looking to shop. As you think about the environment this Earth Day, remember that our teas are free of harmful chemicals and pesticides and are blended with all natural ingredients. For more information about this event, please visit http://www.florida.sierraclub.org/tampabay/.

Teajo Teas back at Tampa Downtown Market - December 2, 2008

We will be back serving our naturally flavored iced teas and hot teas at the Tampa Downtown Market at the latest by Friday, Dec. 12. We hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving holiday and look forward to seeing you at our booth in less than 2 weeks. Also, over the next few weeks, we plan to roll out a new tea flavor or two at the market, so stay tuned!

Black and green tea most popular so far at Tampa Downtown Market - November 11, 2008

Thank you to all those who have stopped by our booth and taken the time to sample our teas. After 2 weeks at the Tampa Downtown Market, we have noticed that the most popular tea flavor so far has been Tropical Mango with Lemon Ginger Green coming in at a close second. For those who are used to drinking traditional black tea, the Tropical Mango with its black tea base provides them with a familar taste. Those whose palettes are comfortable with green tea are gravitating towards the Lemon Ginger Green. Last week, we also noticed an increase in the number of people who ordered the Orange Ruby Rooibos. Rooibos, even with its wonderful naturally sweet flavor, is a new concept to many, so it will take time for people to develop a taste for this herbal infusion.

Over time, we expect our customers to have their favorites, and we will try and keep those flavors around. However, we will also try and introduce new flavors over the next couple of weeks. Specifically, we will be offering a black tea infused with cranberries to coincide with the start of the holiday season.

We had a great time at The Gourmet Feastival, as our Teajo Flavored Iced Teas received great reviews from the many who attended the event at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center last Thursday.

Our three more popular flavors, Lemon Ginger Green, Very Raspberry and Red Mango Rooibos.

My wife, Sheetal, and I posing at our booth before the event.

With my good friend, Johnny, who with his wife, Sally, were both a tremendous help during the event.

Serving tea as the crowd begins to roll in.

Sampling all the flavors!

Nice crowd of happy people tasting great food, fine wine and of course, refreshing iced teas!
